Alif Lam Mim Ra. These are the Signs (or Verses) of the Book: that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth; but most believe not. It is Allah who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see; and Allah established a Throne (of authority); Allah subjected the sun and the moon (to Divine law); Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. Allah regulates all affairs explaining the Signs in detail, that you may believe with certainty in meeting with your Lord. (13: 1-2)
