President Zuma is taking two wives on an official visit to the United States.
Cape Town – There appears to be trouble in the presidential household and it could cause a diplomatic blunder.
For the first time, President Jacob Zuma will have two “spouses” by his side when he visits America officially for the general meeting of the United Nations.
Zuma will apparently be accompanied by one of his three wives, MaThobeka, as well as his fiancée, Gloria BongiNgema.
Informed sources revealed that MaThobeka had organised by herself that she would too be in New York – the official reason being a prize she would receive for work done with cancer patients.
A source said overseas trips caused strife in the president’s “first wives’ club”.
“It is the young ones who fight. MaKhumalo (Zuma’s first wife) doesn’t get involved in this sort of thing. But the young ones always want to be there and this one (Thobeka) said she will go too, come what may.”
“If Zuma can’t even manage his wives, how can he run a country?”
In diplomatic circles the visit is causing a flurry as the two first ladies have to sleep in different hotels.
“It is a question of resources,” said an official.

Why is the South African taxpayer being made to pay for this kind of bull sh*t?
Polygamy is illegal in the US so how do the authorities view the official two-wife visit? Is it OK because wife/spouse numero dos is still a girlfriend if even a fiancée?
So is the taxpayer being asked to pay for the president's girlfriend to accompany him to the US?
Is this even legal? Or does an engagement constitute a marriage in South Africa?
Does anyone even care that all this official f*cking is part of our diplomatic relations?
